Shop till i broke...

Today is the day where once in a year, chrismast songs are playing in the air and at the same time i will be dazzled by the extravagance decoration in the city's major shopping malls....

The day started slow as yesterday visited emergency and trauma and kinda slept late in the early morning.

I went to a Korean Restaurant with James and Kyan and later proceed to Sunway Pyramid with Kyan.The food was great by the way,especially the dessert...

You will not believe the crowd in Sunway....the place was just filled with throngs of people here and there,young,old,funky,foreign,casual...you named it.The second amazement of the day was the chrismast tree in Sunway.Although not as impressive and breathtaking as the one i saw in One Utama last time,the Chrismast trees were nicely decorated with strands of clear strips illuminated from within by the trees decorated with many colourful lights.They all formed a cone shape and emitted a very indian style of deco(maybe due to the cone...haha)

Walking from shop to shop is a test on how to avoid bumping to people and test my patience level at the same time as i need to wait for some slowpoke to give way or make a u turn(sounded like driving in traffic...)But the joyous feeling i gained today was seeing lots of happy faces all around me,laughing at people who tried to ice skate,but failed...haha...evil....(one even need a wheelchair for assistance after a hard fall...oh my god...),buying things that i needed...Burned a lot of calories today.

We had a nice dinner and ended the shopping spree with a very expensive cab ride....Yes,today the last amazement was how much money that i spent.....

I may not realize or fully understand the true spirit chrismast,but from what i see today,it is a chance for friends,family,lovers to get together and spend precious time together,even though it means competing with strangers to grab the best shirt/pants among the bundles...

And i wish that one day i will experince a white chrismast.....snow....:)
